Are you looking for a durable and versatile building material that can withstand harsh weather conditions, maintain its aesthetic appeal, and meet your design requirements? Look no further than Aluminum Composite Material (ACM)! This innovative material has been revolutionizing the construction industry with its unique properties and endless possibilities. In this blog post, we’ll explore everything you need to know about ACM – from its composition and benefits to popular applications in architecture and beyond. So let’s dive in!
Aluminum Composite Material (ACM) is made of two thin sheets of aluminum sandwiching a core of polyethylene or mineral-filled fire-retardant thermoplastic. The aluminum surfaces have been pre-finished and coil coated in a variety of colors and finishes including wood grain, stone and stucco.
To produce ACM, large rolls of aluminum sheet are first fed into a roll slitter where it is cut into narrower widths. The narrow strips of aluminum are then fed into a cutting table where they are cut to the desired length. The pieces are then transported to the lamination line where they are placed in a heated chamber between two sheets of clear film. In the chamber, the heat causes the clear film to adhere to the surface of the aluminum.
The next step is to feed the laminated sheets into a press where they are bonded under high pressure and heat until they cool and solidify. After exiting the press, the ACM panels are trimmed to size and then undergo quality testing before being packaged for shipment.
Aluminum composite material, or ACM, is a type of metal siding that consists of two thin sheets of aluminum bonded to a polyethylene core. ACM is commonly used as an exterior cladding for commercial and industrial buildings. It is also used on some residential homes.
ACM panels are available in a variety of colors and finishes, including painted, anodized, and mill finish. We offer a warranty on our product. ACM panels are installed by teams of professionals.
ACM panels can be cut, drilled, shaped, and formed to create distinctive architectural features. They are lightweight and easy to work with, making them a popular choice for both new construction and remodeling projects.
